Partial Preterism

Preterism is the belief that the prophecies of Matt 24:1-34 were fulfilled by the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD by the Roman army led by Titus. This eschatological view is in direct opposition to that of Calvary Chapel which is Pre-millenial and pre-tribulational/Dispensational.

Since Calvary Chapel has the tribulation as a distinctive any pastor who comes to hold an alternate eschatology is taken off the rolls as a Calvary Chapel pastor.
