Y2K = $$$
Missler Update
The Y2K non-event has come and gone. The chips are not down contrary to the false predictions of the purveyors of Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD).
Doom and Gloom Crowd Discredited?
Once again, Missler and his doom and gloom crowd have cashed in on the fears of Christians.
If you were duped by Missler, let us know. We'd like to collect the stories of widows and orphans who paid big bucks for Y2K supplies on the basis of information provided by Missler. Maybe we could even have a contest for who was taken the most..
An Accounting?
Will the purveyors of FUD run for the hills? We predict that they won't. Rather, what will be their next game?
Y2K is Old News Now
Recently we have been inundated with requests for information about the Year 2000 (or Y2K) problem. Chuck Missler has jumped on the Y2K bandwagon in a big way. Missler had a Y2K conference here in Southern California in the middler of 1998 that drew 2,000 people over a two day period. The cost of the conference was $15 a ticket, or two tickets for $20. Figuring an average of $12.50 a ticket times 2,000 attendees, yields gross receipts of $25,000.
